Utilising Placeit by Envato can help boost your content publishing career.
Blogging, publishing, or marketing on social media uses a lot of content which is where Placeit by Envato comes in handy.
I discovered Placeit purely by chance in 2019, when I was looking for t-shirt mock-ups for a men’s mental health company. The site’s range and style were an instant fit.
As I moved into publishing, the book mock-ups became a godsend, not just for creating content but for marketing.
There’s nothing better than having the best images around to promote your work, books, blog, or products.
What exactly is Placeit by Envato?
It is a content and visual asset site, which gives you access to royalty-free mock-ups and promotional creatives.
It runs on a subscription model, either monthly or yearly. But if you cancel the subscription, you still get to keep your assets, you just can’t modify them.
What you get with Placeit:
- Digital mock-ups.
- Print/apparel mock-ups.
- Design templates.
- Vast selection of logos.
- Video content.
- Promotional videos.
- Gaming templates.
I went to Placeit for the mock-ups but ended up discovering so much more.
The video below was for that mental health company. It was made entirely on Placeit using the templates available, music, and video content.
For the video to load properly, the size has been reduced using clideo.
Using Placeit for your blog
Every blog needs a logo, and if you prefer to make your own then Placeit has you covered.
Using their logo maker, you can make awesome looking logos in just a few minutes. There are literally thousands of different templates to choose from and adapt.
If you’re someone like me who changes their logo on a regular basis, then the logo maker is a valuable tool. Making a logo for your blog is easy and simple to edit.
If you need stock images for your blog or video content, then check out Envato Elements.
Placeit for authors and publishers
I went for the t-shirt mock-ups and stayed for the book ones! Here’s two examples of one of my own books.
As you can see, I’ve had a lot of fun using their templates over the years. You can create new promotional images every month to keep your content fresh and relevant.
And it’s easy to do, there’s no Photoshop level knowledge required, it’s all there ready for you to do.
Authors need logos too and this is possibly the best place to create one. You won’t need to find a freelancer to do the job when everything is ready for you here.
Using Placeit for content publishing
The best thing about the set-up is that it everything on the site is royalty and commercial free.
You can literally set up a content publishing company using the visual assets available to you from Placeit. And many do!
Freelancers, commercial enterprises, designers, creators, publishers, design studios, there’s something on Placeit for every industry.
I know Placeit by Envato can help boost your blog and content publishing career. I know this because I continuously use the assets on the site.
Have a look around this site and you might just see some of those assets on here!
Still unsure? Explore the Placeit site for yourself and see what you can do with it.
Oh, and here’s another mock-up I made to sweeten the deal. You can make as many of these as you want with your subscription.
